KWAEBIBIREM ASSEMBLY ORGANIZED A MASSIVE CLEAN-UP EXERCISE TO PROMOTE CLEANLINESS AND HEALTHY LIVING AMONG RESIDENTS’ THEME “LET’S KEEP KWAEBIBIREM CLEAN.” ON 09/05/2026
On Saturday, 9th May, 2026, the Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly organized a massive clean-up exercise within the Municipality as part of efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and healthy living among residents. The exercise commenced at 6:00 a.m. with converging points at Ajara Junction, Kade Zongo, and Adankrono Market.
The exercise was led by the Honourable Municipal Chief Executive, Emmanuel Kofi Nti, under the theme “Let’s Keep Kwaebibirem Clean.” Also present were the Presiding Member, some Honourable Assembly Members, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Assembly staff, sanitation officers, and residents who actively participated in the exercise.
The Chief of Adankrono together with his people also joined the exercise to support the Assembly’s sanitation campaign and demonstrate communal spirit towards maintaining a clean environment. Participants cleaned principal streets, markets, gutters, and other public places by sweeping, desilting choked drains, clearing weeds, and collecting refuse within the various communities.
Addressing participants during the exercise, the Honourable MCE commended residents and stakeholders for their commitment and cooperation. He emphasized the need for continuous community participation in sanitation activities to help prevent the outbreak of diseases and improve the general appearance of the Municipality.
The Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly reiterated its commitment to sustaining regular clean-up exercises and urged all residents to make cleanliness a collective responsibility for the development of the Municipality.
