REPORT OF THE JUSTICE AND SECURITY SUB-COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, 16TH MAY, 2024 AT THE MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HALL, KADE
Members of the Justice and Security sub-committee met on Thursday, 16th May, 2024 in accordance with subsection 19 of the Local Governance act,2016 (Act 936)
PROVISION OF OFFICE FOR IMMIGRATION SERVICE
The Security sub-committee noted with concern the invasion of foreigners within the Municipality due to the mining activities. In view of this, the Security sub-committee recommended for the provision of offices for immigration officers.
PROVISION OF SECURITY AT OFFICIAL BUNGALOWS
Members expressed worry on the recent theft issues at the bungalows of the Assembly. After lengthy deliberations, they unanimously agreed to the provision of security personnel at the bungalows
In conclusion, the Sub-Committee outlined the above to be forwarded to the Executive Committee for consideration.
