MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE – HON. EMMANUEL KOFI NTI, ENGAGES STAFF OF KWAEBIBIREM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY ON 12/4/25
Honorable Emmanuel Kofi Nti, the newly appointed Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly (MCE) for Kwaebibirem Municipal, met with the Municipal Assembly staff on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Kwaebibirem Assembly Hall. The meeting gave the MCE a chance to introduce himself, get to know the personnel, and discuss the current issues facing the Municipality with department heads, unit leaders, administrative staff, and support staff in attendance.
In his introductory remarks, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Nti expressed his appreciation for the warm reception he has received since assuming office. In addition to introducing himself, he claims that he was hired to establish an open and helpful relationship with each employee. Additionally, he emphasized his commitment to inclusive leadership, transparency, and teamwork while assuring the staff that he has an open-door policy that encourages recommendations and constructive criticism. According to him, it takes professionalism, teamwork, and a shared development objective to provide services effectively.
During the interactive session, staff members took turns sharing some of the most pressing problems their departments were dealing with. The lack of logistics and working equipment, the shortage of office space, the delays in funding planned activities, the absence of possibilities for staff capacity development, and the need for improved interdepartmental communication were among the issues raised. He also discussed the restoration of the stadiums, the education facility, the development of market roads and their drainage, as well as other significant projects that still need to be finished. Staff also pledged to fully support the MCE’s administration and commended him for holding the meeting so early in his term.
In response, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Nti acknowledged the staff’s worries and assured them that he had taken note of all the points raised. He pledged to work closely with the Municipal Coordinating Director and other relevant authorities to address the logistics and infrastructural shortcomings. He also promised to support continued staff capacity-building initiatives and timely funding releases. Along with stressing the importance of teamwork, the MCE promised to foster departmental collaboration by forming interdepartmental task teams as necessary.
