DECISION TAKEN BY EXeCO TO GENERAL ASSEMBLY
1. The General Assembly should be informed that the delay in procuring basic school furniture was due to a directive from the Ministry of Education to review design and material specifications. Following approval, procurement has resumed and desks will soon be distributed.
2. Assembly Members should submit proposed demarcations for the five zonal councils to Management for onward submission to the RCC and Ministry of Local Government for incorporation into the 2027 elections.
3. Pending official operational guidelines, Management should establish a team to supervise the maintenance and use of the DRIP machines, review access procedures, and introduce maintenance fees in addition to fuel charges.
4. Management should engage the District Registrar of Births and Deaths to clarify burial and graveyard permit fees for budget inclusion.
5. Data on uncompleted and legacy projects, including GETFund, IPEP, and Middle Belt projects, should be collected. The Development Planning Department should coordinate with Assembly Members to compile project details and submit a report to the Executive Committee.
6. Data on all Assembly lands, including those at Abenaso, Takyiman, Subi, and the Slaughter House, should be documented for protection and record-keeping. Compensation payments to landowners should also be properly recorded to support future dispute resolution.
7. The Committee noted that the distribution of oil palm seedlings has begun through the Zonal Councils, and Assembly Members should inform farmers in their electoral areas.
8. The insurance and maintenance schedule for the eight motorbikes used by field officers should be included in the annual budget.
9. Part of the annual budget should be used to renovate the Municipal Assembly Office, including roof and ceiling repairs, repainting, replacement of louvres and nets, and procurement of an adjustable ladder for maintenance works.
10. All Assembly vehicles should be insured. Management should also submit a progress report on damaged vehicles at the next Executive Committee meeting and include the procurement of one pickup
