THE KWAEBIBIREM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY INTENSIFIED ITS REVENUE MOBILIZATION EXERCISE ON 31/03/2026 AND 28/04/2026.

On 31st March and 28th April 2026, the Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly intensified its revenue mobilization exercise across the Municipality to improve Internally Generated Funds (IGF) for developmental projects and effective service delivery. The exercise was led by the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Municipal Finance Officer, PM, some Assembly Members, revenue officers, and other Assembly officials who toured from the Kade market through to Adankrono, visiting business centres, transport stations, and commercial facilities within the Municipality.

The exercise aimed at educating business operators and residents on the importance of paying taxes, market tolls, property rates, and business operating permits to support local development. During the engagement, the Assembly emphasized that revenue collected would be used to improve roads, sanitation, education, healthcare, and other essential services within the Municipality.

Speaking during the exercise, officials of the Assembly encouraged traders and business owners to cooperate with revenue collectors and fulfill their civic responsibilities promptly. Some defaulters were also sensitized on the need to regularize their payments to avoid sanctions.

The revenue mobilization exercise forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to enhancing transparency, accountability, and sustainable development within the Kwaebibirem Municipality
